At Fleur, we support children and their families in the journey of growing a child’s confidence in the ability to express themselves, be understood, and be themselves. We build a strong relationship, play, learn, do “the hard things,” laugh, and more.  Our ultimate goal is be your teammate in your child’s growth.

Our approach is focused on meeting children where they are, honoring their total-communication, and using play-based learning to support your child’s language in the activities and play that bring them joy. When first starting this process for your child, there may be feelings of unknown and uncertainty, without a direction or answers for what it means for your child’s growth. We are dedicated to walking through the journey with you, as a collaborator and advocate.

I love being a safe space for children to try,  take risks, and “do the hard things." One of my favorite parts of my job is the collaboration with caregivers and families, journeying with them and helping them shift their perspective from “these are all the things I’ve been told are wrong” with their child to these are “all the areas in which they get to grow and bloom." I continue to listen to and learn from neurodivergent populations so that I may continue to support my families the best I can.

I love to bake for family and friends.. cakes, cookies, poptarts, anything that makes them happy! I can watch The Great British Bake Off on repeat.

I grew up spending my summers at a sleep away camp in Northeast Georgia, which sparked my love of the mountains. I now return to that same camp for 2 weeks during the summer in a professional capacity, to support the neurodivergent campers and staff in having their most successful and fun summer!

Just like so many of the children I see, I have my own sensory differences, too! I get very overstimulated by competing sounds or people talking over each other, and I don’t love constrictive necklines.

I am born and raised here in Wellington, FL! I feel so honored to be able to give back to the community in which I was raised.

fun facts:

Miss Lauren has been a tremendous help with our daughter’s speech! We have seen so much improvement and growth since July 2023. Miss Lauren has taken her time and adapted to the way she learns, while teaching her the necessities to speak properly. Our daughter loves Miss Lauren!!!!

My son has made leaps and bounds in both his language and confidence, and I know that is thanks to Lauren! She always made him feel safe and therapy was always fun and loving. He never wanted to go home! I will always be grateful to Lauren for helping not only my son, but also with helping to teach me how I can support him at home, at school, and in life, as well as being a shoulder to lean on when it got hard.

Ms. Lauren worked with our daughter for nearly two years, completely transforming her speech. She went from a 4-year-old who was rarely understood, to a totally intelligible 6-year-old, all thanks to Ms. Lauren. Speech therapy became something that our daughter looked forward to because of the safe, fun, and exciting environment that she fostered.

Lauren is very knowledgeable and great at what she does. She has helped me advocate for my son at school by providing information on his language differences so his needs could be met more appropriately. She also offered to attend meetings and communicate with his school. With her help I now have confidence that with continued therapy and time, my son will meet his language goals.

-Caregiver of N

Our child had a more unique language disorder and we were feeling a bit lost until we met Lauren. She knew which ways to help, and it was/is amazing to see the drastic difference and improvement under her guidance. As an added bonus, our child enjoyed seeing her and looked forward to each session. I can’t recommend her enough!

Lauren has been wonderful with our 5 year old son. She is very attentive and meets him where he is through play and incorporating topics of interest. She maintains open lines of communication and feedback, ensuring that as parents we can provide appropriate support within his daily routine. Our son looks forward to working with Lauren and we have seen great improvement.
